The company is seeking a Data Engineering Tech Lead to join their team in Budapest. This role involves close collaboration with Architects, Engineers, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to ensure the highest quality deliverables, as well as mentoring team members. The Tech Lead will drive technical improvements within the teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with architects to implement the set direction.
  • Aligning with other tech leads for technical consistency.
  • Participating in sprint planning, development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, and deployment.
  • Identifying and designing application improvements.
  • Assisting in building a world-class team through interviews and mentoring.
  • Staying updated with technology and strategically implementing it.
  • Maintaining stakeholder relationships and understanding rapport.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers.
  • Maintaining and evolving the data platform.
  • Involvement in data integrations.
  • Ingesting of streaming data and applying transformations to data streams.
  • Data modelling following data standards.
  • Ensuring data quality.

Requirements include:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Excellent English verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Good learning mindset.
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask.
  • Experience with technologies such as Python, Snowflake, and AWS.
