Job Description

Filson is seeking a Retail Key Holder for their Ballard location in Seattle, WA. This role involves leading the team to achieve new heights, motivating sales associates, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. The Key Holder is also responsible for executing operational standards, visual merchandising, and marketing events.Responsibilities:

• Identifying customer needs and providing exceptional product knowledge.
• Supporting the Store Manager in staff selection, training, and development.
• Coaching and providing feedback to team members.
• Managing training plans to drive key performance indicators.
• Supporting marketing events and community outreach.
• Preparing reports and maintaining inventories.
• Ensuring Filson Standards and Operating Standards are met.
• Protecting employees and customers by maintaining a safe environment.
• Managing customer service and driving a performance culture.
• Supporting store operations and enforcing company policies.

Requirements:

• Exceptional selling and customer service skills.
• Minimum of one year in a leadership role.
• Experience using data for informed decisions.
• People development experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• PC based computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift and carry 30 pounds.
• Able to reach overhead, pull clothing from shelves, bend, kneel, or stoop.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
