Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Engineer, Battery Algorithms, to contribute to their battery technology. The candidate will work in a cross-functional team, designing and developing battery controls and algorithms to ensure battery safety and performance. They will also be responsible for designing accurate battery models, collaborating with cross-functional teams for integration testing, and debugging hardware and software issues.Responsibilities:
  • Advance battery management features
  • Design and develop battery controls
  • Design and develop battery algorithms and models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Verify software using testing frameworks
  • Debug hardware and software issues
  • Support the Battery Software department
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing battery controls and algorithms
  • Knowledge of battery chemistries
  • Experience with battery management systems and EV powertrain
  • Experienced with model-based software design and development tools
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields, MS and PhD preferred
