Red Cell Partners is seeking a Director of Engineering to scale Trase Systems' engineering organization. The Director will be responsible for building high-performing engineering teams, establishing scalable processes, and fostering a culture of excellence. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills to support the company's ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Scale the engineering organization from 15 to 50+ engineers.
  • Build organizational structure and communication channels.
  • Establish engineering operations for sprint planning and project management.
  • Drive performance management and career development.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Manage engineering budgets and headcount planning.
  • Enable productivity by removing obstacles.
  • Partner with leadership to align engineering capacity with business objectives.
  • Measure and improve engineering productivity and quality.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
  • Experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth technology companies.
  • Strong track record of implementing engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Expertise in performance management and compensation planning.
  • Experience with engineering metrics and KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to create psychological safety and maintain startup agility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
