A blockchain security startup is seeking a skilled Optimization Researcher to join their team in Hong Kong. The company focuses on zero-day exploits and provides top-notch security solutions through technology and innovative research. They aim to revolutionize smart contract auditing with computation-intensive automation. The Optimization Researcher will work closely with the CEO to enhance the automation and optimization process for value extraction on smart contracts. Web3 experience is not necessary.
Role involves:
- Conducting research in optimization techniques and applying them in the Web3 domain.
- Developing innovative methods for discrete optimization for test suite generations.
- Developing algorithms for optimizing searching processes for value extractions.
- Applying ML-based approaches to enhance the effectiveness of searching frameworks.
- Developing benchmarks to evaluate the efficacy of different algorithms.
- Collaborating with engineers and advising cross-functional teams.
- Staying updated with advancements in algorithmic optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, C++, or Solidity.
- Strong interest in learning blockchain technology and smart contract operations.
- Proficiency in researching and developing ML or optimization methods for continuous optimization problems.
- Proficiency in researching and developing test suite generation in computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
