Job Description
Sotheby's is seeking a Paralegal to join their New York Commercial Legal team. The Paralegal will act as a liaison between Sotheby’s North American departments and the Legal team, primarily drafting standard agreements and amendments. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    Role involves:
  • Drafting standard agreements and amendments.
  • Reviewing contract mark-ups.
  • Assisting with contract-related matters.
  • Engaging with internal departments like Risk and Tax.
  • Updating agreement forms.
    Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a sales business or corporate legal environment.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Computer efficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Professional demeanor and client service attitude.
    Sotheby's offers:
  • A proposed base salary range of $50,000-$60,000 plus OT eligibility.
