Data Team - AI & ML Tech Lead at Betsson Group

Betsson is seeking an experienced and hands-on AI & ML Tech Lead to join their AI and Machine Learning Team in Malta. This role is pivotal in developing Betsson's AI/ML framework and platform, developing Machine Learning models, and supporting MLOps initiatives, while also serving as a subject matter expert.

The candidate will lead in project execution, mentor team members, and promote AI awareness across the organization, driving innovative AI solutions into Betsson’s products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop frameworks for AI/ML solutions and products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Direct the implementation of new AI technologies, including Generative AI and MLOps.
• Lead in the design and development of Betsson’s AI platforms and solutions.
• Establish and scale a high-performing AI team.
• Provide technical leadership, setting clear deliverables.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain a framework to standardize AI utilization.
• Develop advanced machine learning models for real-time applications.
• Monitor and optimize AI models and algorithms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the AI field, developing AI solutions and products.
• Experience developing platforms using Cloud (preferably AWS) and LLMs.
• Expertise in managing Data/AI/ML projects.
• Experience creating RAG systems and building applications using LLMs.
• Proficiency in AI technologies, event-driven environments, and machine learning algorithms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
