This role involves active monitoring, incident resolution, and engagement with data requests while continuously improving data processes and systems. The Data Operations Engineer will be responsible for:
- Providing first-line support for data-related incidents.
- Performing rigorous investigations into data quality and implementing corrective actions.
- Handling incoming data requests from various stakeholders.
- Collaborating on data engineering initiatives.
- Engaging in incident monitoring and resolution.
- Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing improvements.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Preferably 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing datasets.
- Experience with scripting languages to automate and streamline tasks.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident resolution methodologies.
- Reliability and strong accountability in managing data operations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.
