Associate Director of Clinical Data Management

Job Description

Recursion is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Data Management to lead and oversee end-to-end Clinical Data Management activities on assigned studies and programs. This role involves managing third-party data sources and serving as a subject matter expert for Data Management. The Associate Director will lead and deliver initiatives for CDM within the Biometrics group and collaborate with cross-functional groups within the Clinical Development organization and larger Data Science teams at Recursion.

• Leading end-to-end Data Management activities.
• Managing outsourced studies and leading DM and external vendor oversight activities.
• Representing Data Management in Clinical Study Meetings.
• Working with CRO and Recursion functional groups to complete EDC set up and other systems.
• Leading efforts for creation and standardization of CRFs and Data Review Plans.
• Overseeing the creation and maintenance of Data Management documents.
• Coordinating with vendors to guarantee data collection compatibility.
• Ensuring filing, archival, and inspection readiness of all Data Management Trial Master File (TMF) activities.
• Reviewing and managing external Data Management Budgets.
• Supporting the development of Clinical Data Management Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, math, or computer science.
• 12+ years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience managing external data and 3rd party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and guidelines for clinical trials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Competitive annual base range: $131,000 - $176,400 CAD.
