Job Description
Betsson is seeking a Data QA Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring reliable and accurate data. The Data QA Engineer will be key in the application and implementation of data quality within the data governance strategy. This role involves interacting with multiple stakeholders across the Group, including tech teams and product or business owners.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data quality monitoring frameworks.
  • Generate reports and support Data Stewards in validation and quality assurance.
  • Design and develop automated data quality validation scripts.
  • Define and monitor key data quality metrics through data profiling.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues.
  • Work closely with the data engineering team and data stewards to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide detailed feedback and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data quality implementation and monitoring.
  • Experience in defining and implementing data quality controls.
  • Strong understanding of data quality methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong experience in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Selenium or similar testing tool.
  • Familiarity with Data Integration tools such as Apache NiFi and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Proficiency with documentation platforms like Confluence.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter mindset and positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, including GDPR, and data security standards.
