Job Description
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a State Account Executive to sell to state-level law enforcement customers east of the Mississippi. The Account Executive will meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities. They will deliver presentations and demonstrations, oversee the sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technology roadmap and driving Peregrine’s solutions.Role involves:
  • Strategically assess, prioritize, plan, and sell to state-level law enforcement customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Deliver senior-level presentations and demonstrations.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle.
  • Identify, develop, and document GTM best practices.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of field sales experience in the enterprise software/SaaS space.
  • Experience within data integration, analytics, and business intelligence in law enforcement / public safety strongly preferred.
  • A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into net new complex state-level accounts.
  • Experience with federal and state grant opportunities for state law enforcement agencies.
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling.
  • Excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.
  • Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Located in a major East Coast metro area, ideally New York City or Washington, D.C.
