Job Description
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a State Account Executive to sell to state-level law enforcement customers west of the Mississippi. The ideal candidate will meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities. This role involves delivering senior-level presentations, overseeing the entire sales cycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Account Executive will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technology roadmap and driving Peregrine's solutions.

Role Involves:
  • Strategically assessing, prioritizing, and planning sales to state-level law enforcement customers.
  • Prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities.
  • Delivering senior-level presentations and demonstrations.
  • Overseeing the entire sales cycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technology roadmap.

Requirements:
  • 12+ years of field sales experience in the enterprise software/SaaS space.
  • Experience within data integration, analytics, and business intelligence in law enforcement / public safety strongly preferred.
  • A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into net new complex state-level accounts.
  • Experience with federal and state grant opportunities for state law enforcement agencies.
  • State-level law enforcement career experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability and comfort in negotiating and closing legal agreements with customers.
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling and managing a complex sales process.
  • Excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.
  • Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Located in a major West Coast metro area, ideally San Francisco.
