Art Director, Visual Design

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking an Art Director, Visual Design to join their team in Cupertino. This role involves conceptual development and execution of creative deliverables for a major website. The Art Director will report to the Creative Director and collaborate with designers, copywriters, and production specialists. The ideal candidate will balance creative thinking with interpersonal skills and effectively communicate concepts to both the client and the project team. This is an onsite role, requiring the candidate to be in the Cupertino office 5 days a week.What this role involves:

• Developing concepts and design solutions
• Directing creative services disciplines
• Contributing to project design and development
• Providing quality assurance of creative deliverables
• Mentoring team members
• Building rapport with clients and vendors

Requirements:

• Strong design portfolio with 5+ years of experience
• Experience leading a team
• Well-developed communication skills
• Ability to think creatively
• Experience with strategic brainstorming
• Proficiency in Adobe CS, Sketch, Principle
• Understanding of interaction and UI design
