Freelance Designer, Experience

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Designer to contribute to the creation of applications for a high-traffic website. The Designer will play a key role in helping the client connect with consumers globally through various digital experiences. This role focuses on bringing new product pages to life, collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new product landing pages for the client's site. The Designer will work on major releases and smaller updates throughout the year.

The ideal candidate is a pixel-perfect visual designer with flawless execution and a passion for the latest products. They should be comfortable developing breakthrough marketing campaigns and creating elegant design solutions for the client's homepage and other platforms. A strong understanding of brand principles and style guidelines is essential.

Role Involves:

• Creating original designs aligned with project goals.
• Collaborating with Art Directors and the project team.
• Preparing optimized files and presentation materials.
• Guiding ideas to meet creative and business goals.
• Presenting and articulating design rationale.
• Consulting with technical disciplines.
• Reviewing final deliverables for flawless execution.
• Refining design thinking and improving workflows.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in visual design for web, mobile, and/or app design.
• High proficiency in design elements, including typography and layout.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Photoshop expertise.
• Passion for nurturing relationships and mentoring teams.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Prototyping ability for interactive concepts.
• Strong understanding of web development technologies.
• Figma, Photoshop and Sketch expertise.
