Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Designer to contribute to the creation of applications for a high-traffic website. The Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new product landing pages, showcasing product updates. This role requires a pixel-perfect visual designer with a passion for new products.

The Freelance Designer will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns for new product launches, working closely with creative and tech teams to create design solutions for the client's homepage and other platforms. They should understand brand principles and style guidelines and appreciate systematic design rationale.

Role Involves:

• Creating original designs aligned with project goals.
• Collaborating with Art Directors and the project team.
• Preparing files and presentation materials for creative reviews.
• Guiding ideas to meet creative and business goals.
• Presenting and articulating design rationale.
• Consulting with technical disciplines to ensure design feasibility.
• Reviewing final deliverables for flawless execution.
• Refining design thinking and improving workflows.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in visual design for web, mobile, and/or app design.
• High proficiency in design elements like typography and layout.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Photoshop expertise.
• Passion for nurturing relationships and mentoring teams.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Prototyping ability for interactive concepts.
• Strong understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, iOS).
• Figma, Photoshop, and Sketch expertise.
