Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Designer to join their team in Cupertino. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new product landing pages for a major client's website. These pages will showcase new product versions and updates, with a major release every fall and smaller updates throughout the year.Role involves:

• Creating original designs aligned with project goals and creative direction.
• Collaborating with Art Directors, ACDs, and the project team on design layouts.
• Preparing optimized files and presentation materials for creative reviews.
• Guiding ideas to meet creative and business goals within project scope.
• Presenting design rationale clearly and persuasively.
• Consulting with technical disciplines to ensure designs work within limitations.
• Reviewing final deliverables for flawless layout, images, and typography.
• Refining design thinking and improving workflows.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in visual design for web, mobile, and/or app design.
• High proficiency in design elements like typography, layout, and balance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment and deliver quality design.
• Expertise in Photoshop, Figma and Sketch, including file organization.
• Passion for nurturing relationships and mentoring teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Prototyping ability for interactive concepts.
• Understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and iOS.
