Senior Designer, Contract

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Designer to join their team in Cupertino. This role involves working closely with the client to create applications for a high-traffic website. The Senior Designer will focus on maintaining branding and human-centered design within the digital ecosystem. They will drive strategies to provide customers with engaging experiences. This position requires the candidate to work onsite 5 days a week in Cupertino.Role involves:

• Designing digital solutions that meet strategic objectives.
• Creating usable interface solutions focused on user experience.
• Rationalizing solutions to project teams and clients.
• Balancing creative with client business requirements.
• Designing mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, and interface demos.
• Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables.
• Building and maintaining rapport with team members.
• Visualizing and verbalizing ideas to team and client.

Requirements:

• 4-7+ years of experience in digital design and interactive.
• Strong digital design portfolio.
• Developed communication skills.
• Ability to articulate creative ideas.
• Aptitude for quick creative thinking with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Mac OS, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Figma, Photoshop and Sketch expertise.
• Understanding of After Effects, Sketch, Principle, information architecture, and hierarchy.
• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web.
• Illustration skills.
