Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Designer, Experience to join their team in Cupertino. The Senior Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new product landing pages for a major client's website. These pages will showcase new product versions and updates, with a major release every fall and smaller updates throughout the year. The ideal candidate is a pixel-perfect visual designer with flawless execution and a passion for the latest products.Role involves:

• Creating original designs that align to project goals and creative direction.
• Collaborating with Art Directors, ACDs, and the project team to explore concepts and iterate on design layouts.
• Anticipating and solving potential design challenges.
• Preparing for creative reviews by outputting optimized files and presentation materials.
• Guiding ideas to meet creative and business goals within the project scope.
• Presenting persuasively and clearly articulating design rationale.
• Consulting with technical disciplines to ensure designs work within limitations.
• Reviewing final deliverables with an exacting eye.
• Seeking opportunities to refine design thinking and improve workflows.

Requirements:

• 4-7+ years of experience specializing in visual design for web, mobile, and/or app design.
• High proficiency in the formal elements of design.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative workplace and deliver quality design at a high volume.
• Photoshop expertise, including file organization and setting up files for web production.
• Reliable judgment and initiative to collaborate with others to find solutions.
• Passion for nurturing relationships, mentoring, and rallying teams.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly to creative, project management, and development staff.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Prototyping ability to convey preferred states, motion, and/or behaviors.
• Strong understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS, iOS, and other technologies.
• Figma, Photoshop and Sketch expertise.
