Job Description
iCapital is seeking an Alternatives, Operational Due Diligence Analyst to join their Research and Education team. This role involves overseeing and conducting operational due diligence on prospective and current investments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of operational risks, internal controls, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive operational due diligence.
- Assess external fund managers.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks.
- Prepare and present detailed reports.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of fund managers.
- Engage in ad-hoc projects.
- Work closely with Investment, Legal and Compliance teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Mentor and train junior members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred
- 6 - 10 years of experience for the AVP role and 10-15 years of experience for the VP level in operational due diligence, risk management, internal audit, or a related field within the investment industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
