Job Description

OpenTable, a part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is seeking a Sr. Compensation Manager to help attract, retain, and motivate top talent. The Sr. Compensation Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to plan, develop, implement, and administer compensation programs that align with OpenTable’s overall strategy. This role involves short and long-term incentives, benchmarking, and survey analysis.

In this role, the candidate will:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and processes.
  • Liaise with FP&A and the holding company for accurate compensation forecasts.
  • Lead mid-year and year-end compensation cycles.
  • Promote understanding of compensation philosophy across the organization.
  • Recommend and implement new systems and tools to improve compensation administration.
  • Lead a small team to deliver analysis on pay program effectiveness.
  • Advocate and gain consensus on compensation programs and tools.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the OpenTable organizational structure.
  • Champion the OpenTable culture, mission, and values.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A B.A./B.S. with 7 – 10 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst in a tech environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced experience in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • A growth mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Comfort presenting to senior management.
  • Experience with Workday’s advanced compensation functionality.
