Blackbird Clinical Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to lead and support contract Behavioral Health Therapists. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned child or adolescent clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD) with experience in building and retaining a therapist team while ensuring high-quality patient care. The role involves maintaining a patient caseload and contributing to the overall well-being of Blackbird patients and families.Blackbird is transforming how pediatric mental health is assessed and treated, making world-class care available in local communities. They provide virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania and Virginia, with plans to expand to new markets in 2025.
Role Involves: - Scaling a clinical team and partnering with Talent Acquisition to hire high-quality providers.
- Establishing programs for provider learning, development, and clinical best practices.
- Building a community within the provider network and owning retention efforts.
- Facilitating product improvements and provider feedback.
- Solving provider and patient issues and concerns.
- Holding and maintaining a patient case load.
Requirements: - Hold a LPC, LMFT, LCSW or PsyD in PA and/or VA
- 3-5 years of experience working with children and adolescents ages 2-26
- 1-3 years of experience managing, leading, and supervising other independently licensed therapists
- Evidence based provider who holds specialized training in children and adolescents
- Compassionate and empathetic leader
- Experienced in interviewing and hiring therapists
- High attention to detail, and experience conducting clinical quality reviews
- Operationally focused
- Thrive in cross functional settings
