Staff Technical Program Manager

Job Description

Affirm is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to oversee high-visibility programs and streamline processes. This role involves developing processes and frameworks for building quality software and evaluating new technology developments.

• Driving complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs.
• Coordinating across engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Understanding technical implementation and proposing alternatives.
• Partnering with Product and Engineering to plan requirements.
• Tracking progress, resolving dependencies, and communicating status.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience managing technical programs.
• Passion for improving consumer finance.
• Organized and strategic approach to collaboration.
• Experience with large technology applications and distributed backend systems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• FinTech, Payments, or Commerce experience is a plus.
