Staff Technical Program Manager

Job Description

Affirm is seeking an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to oversee high-visibility programs and streamline processes. This role involves driving complex technical programs, coordinating across engineering and non-engineering teams, and understanding technical implementation at the architecture level. The ideal candidate will partner with Product and Engineering to plan requirements, manage program schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. They will also track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience managing technical programs.
• Passion for improving consumer finance.
• Organized and strategic approach to collaboration.
• Experience with large technology applications and distributed backend systems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• FinTech, Payments, or Commerce experience is a plus.
