Sagent is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Architect to lead the strategic design and implementation of secure architecture across its platform and within its corporate enterprise. The role involves working closely with engineering, infrastructure, risk, and compliance teams to ensure systems are resilient, compliant, and aligned with best practices for cybersecurity in a highly regulated industry. This is a hands-on technical leadership role that combines deep security expertise with the ability to influence architecture at scale.Sagent is transforming the mortgage servicing industry by bringing the modern experience customers now expect from loan originations to loan servicing. Their platform lets customers manage their home-owing lives from anywhere while giving servicers lower costs, scale compliance and higher servicing values through full market cycles.
Role involves: - Defining and driving cybersecurity architecture strategy.
- Leading threat modeling and security design reviews.
- Partnering with various teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluating and implementing security technologies and frameworks.
- Contributing to the development and enforcement of security policies.
- Mentoring engineers and technical staff.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or relevant discipline with 6 - 10 years of experience in a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in information security and architecture.
- Extensive experience designing security architecture for SaaS platforms and enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Deep knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO, SOC 2, PCI DSS, OWASP.
- Proven experience with threat modeling, IAM, encryption strategies, secure coding practices, and risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of financial services or regulated industries.
- Relevant Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GDSA, -ISSAP, or SABSA preferred.
