Job Description
Sagent is seeking a Senior Director of Offensive Security to spearhead the red/purple team strategy and proactively identify vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and infrastructure. This role involves overseeing offensive security operations, including penetration testing, threat simulation, and adversarial emulation. The Senior Director will shape the vision for offensive security, drive team development, and collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen the overall security posture.Role involves:
  • Owning and evolving the enterprise-wide offensive security strategy.
  • Leading cybersecurity professionals responsible for penetration testing and vulnerability discovery.
  • Developing and executing scalable offensive testing programs.
  • Conducting realistic threat simulations.
  • Partnering with various teams to ensure vulnerabilities are prioritized and remediated.
  • Engaging with executive leadership to present risk-based findings.
  • Developing metrics and reporting frameworks.
  • Building and leading a high-performing offensive security team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in offensive security or red team leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of offensive security methodologies and tools.
  • Proven experience running red/purple team operations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and security testing.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (financial services or fintech preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, or CRTO) preferred.
