Backend Engineering Team Lead

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Backend Engineering Team Lead to guide a team of talented individuals and oversee their performance. This role involves driving the team's deliverables, fostering a positive team environment, and contributing as a developer to create cutting-edge Engagement products for the iGaming sector.

The Team Lead will utilize advanced backend technologies to build highly scalable and resilient applications and will facilitate the safe, rapid, and sustainable deployment of these applications to users.

Role involves:

• People management, mentoring, and coaching developers
• Participating in recruitment and onboarding processes
• Conducting performance reviews and personal development planning, including 1-to-1 sessions
• Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements
• Developing software according to modern best practices and principles
• Participating in decision-making for application architecture design and improvement, solution development, and code review

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in software development
• Experience managing a team of software engineers
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Agile mindset with a focus on business goals
• Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
