Job Description
Zip Co Limited is seeking a versatile and experienced Communications Manager to lead external and internal communications in Australia and New Zealand. This role involves partnering across the organization to shape the company's narrative and execute integrated communications campaigns that promote its purpose, innovation, and impact, while also engaging the team. The Communications Manager will work flexibly from the Sydney office.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead an external communications plan aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Produce high-quality external communications across various channels.
  • Plan and execute PR initiatives, finding innovative ways to tell customer and merchant stories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media and journalists.
  • Support executive thought leadership initiatives.
  • Develop and implement an internal communications strategy aligned to values and strategic priorities.
  • Create compelling content for a range of internal channels.
  • Partner with executive leadership and People & Culture to support communications around business priorities.


Requirements:
  • Tertiary education in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in communications; ASX-listed or sector experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Track record of delivering innovative and impactful communications.
  • Experience working with team members at all levels and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
