Job Description
Appian is seeking a Career Manager to join their Customer Success team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves shaping a new program focused on the professional development and advancement of consultants. The Career Manager will proactively guide and empower consultants, aligning talent strategies with organizational goals. Appian was built on a culture of in-person collaboration, which they believe is a key driver of their mission to be the best. Employees hired for this position are expected to be in the office 5 days a week.

Role involves:
  • Developing frameworks and processes for the Career Management program.
  • Leading the execution of the program, supporting consultants' growth and skill development.
  • Serving as a trusted resource for consultants, offering guidance on career growth and performance management.
  • Overseeing and improving systems for talent development and retention.
  • Administering and enhancing processes for feedback and performance reviews.
  • Soliciting and facilitating regular feedback reviews.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Career Counseling.
  • Experience in managing resources in a consulting or professional services organization.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Adept at navigating challenging situations.
  • Passion for continuous improvement.
