Betsson Group is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer to lead the Gaming Area team. The Gaming Area focuses on game play and discovery across all brands and markets. The role involves preparing for containerization, improving system scalability, and maintaining high quality. The candidate will join a passionate team building a scalable, multi-brand platform.
Role involves:
- People management, including motivation, recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and personal development planning.
- Close communication with POs, Architects, and stakeholders to implement business requirements.
- Product development to meet business needs.
- Proactive involvement in solution development and process improvements.
- Participating in decision-making for application architecture and code review.
- Suggesting and discussing technology choices with the team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend software development experience.
- 1+ year of team management or Scrum Master experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile, Scrum methodology.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Agile mindset with business goals orientation.
- Excellent knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and API integrations.
