Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to join the R&D Operations team. This role involves leading large-scale, cross-functional R&D initiatives within the Product and Engineering teams. The Staff Technical Program Manager will coordinate project work, manage risks, and provide analytical insights to shape long-term strategy. They will work closely with senior leadership to provide transparency and drive business outcomes.

Role involves:
  • Driving a portfolio of high-priority R&D Initiatives.
  • Leading cross-functional technical delivery forums.
  • Developing strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Identifying program risks and establishing escalation processes.
  • Implementing improvements to the quarterly R&D-wide Planning process.
  • Establishing program management standards and best practices.
  • Standardizing JIRA use and operating metrics across teams.
  • Managing user permissions to R&D Ops-managed systems.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years technical program management or similar relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of successfully implementing and managing SaaS product development programs.
  • Solid technical foundation with ability to understand and digest new technical concepts and technologies quickly.
  • Experience in practicing Agile.
  • Strong experience with program management tools; proficiency in Jira required.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills at all levels.
  • Comfortable adjusting between the need to be tactical vs. strategic.
  • Expert in navigating through, and working with ambiguity.
  • Organized and detail oriented; comfortable managing multiple initiatives and priorities in parallel.
