Infrastructure - Platform DevOps Engineer at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking an ambitious DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Core team in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will be passionate about tackling complex challenges and modernizing web and globally distributed applications. The Platform Core team is responsible for managing Infrastructure as Code for parts of Betsson's Core Platform Layer (Kubernetes Clusters, Message Broker backends, Infrastructure tooling). They provide a distributed runtime platform that ensures optimal performance of business applications, APIs, and websites. The team focuses on building self-service infrastructure platforms for developers, providing guidance and tooling for application self-management across environments, and continuously improving platforms based on business needs.

Role Involves:

• Managing Infrastructure as Code for platform.
• Building self-service infrastructure platforms.
• Improving platforms based on business needs.
• Managing Kafka infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS and Rancher RKE preferred).
• Strong knowledge and experience managing Kafka infrastructure in a geo-distributed setup.
• Experience managing Cloud Infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience working with cloud providers, with AWS as preference.
• Experience in building scalable and distributed infrastructure.
• Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana.
• Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar.
• Experience in using and managing Linux distributions.
