Mobile Apps - QA Engineer at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join their Mobile Apps Team in Athens. The QA Engineer will ensure the quality and functionality of Betsson Group's mobile applications through thorough manual testing, collaborating with product managers, developers, designers, and other QA team members to identify issues and contribute to the apps' improvement. They will work within a Hybrid Work From Home model, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Role involves:

• Conducting manual testing on mobile applications across various devices and operating systems.
• Collaborating to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Performing regular regression testing.
• Creatively exploring applications to uncover hidden issues.
• Documenting and reporting defects clearly.
• Managing and monitoring defects using issue tracking systems.
• maintaining test documentation.
• Providing input on QA process improvements.
• Implementing and maintaining automated test scenarios.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodology.
• Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira, ClickUp).
• Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Xray).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
