Job Description
Gong is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business growth and acquire new customers. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing prospects from lead generation to closing, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor. They will develop tailored account plans, communicate Gong's value proposition, and refine messaging for outbound prospecting. The role involves engaging senior executives, partnering with sales teams, and traveling to customer sites (up to 20%).

Responsibilities include:
  • Driving new business growth within a greenfield territory.
  • Developing tailored account plans.
  • Communicating Gong's value proposition.
  • Refining and optimizing messaging for outbound prospecting.
  • Engaging and educating senior executives.
  • Partnering with the SDR, Sales and Sales Engineering teams.

Requirements include:
  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably selling a complex SaaS solution to Enterprise clients.
  • Track record of overachieving revenue targets of 1M+ and closing six figure deals ($200k+).
  • Experience selling to senior leaders within enterprise organizations (1,000+ employees).
  • Hunter mentality with a passion for securing new logos.
  • Experience utilizing MEDDPICC or a similar value-based selling methodology.
  • Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Located in EST timezone preferred but open to remote (US).
