Job Description
Angi is seeking a Temporary Finance Manager to lead financial consolidations and reporting. The role involves managing the monthly financial close and FP&A processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The Finance Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including FP&A, accounting teams, external auditors, and the parent company. This is a high-visibility role focused on data integrity, process innovation, and automation.Responsibilities include:
- Leading the financial consolidation process.
- Overseeing the monthly forecast process.
- Managing month-end close activities.
- Communicating real-time financial information to stakeholders.
- Reviewing financial projections.
- Preparing presentation materials for the executive team and parent company.
- Working on special projects and ad hoc analysis.
- Innovating financial reporting.
- Driving automation efforts.
- Ensuring SOX compliance.
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, manage, and develop a high-performing team.
- 5+ years of relevant finance experience, with a strong background in consolidations and financial reporting, ideally within a medium to large organization.
- Experience with ERP and financial forecasting systems such as Netsuite, PBCS, or Essbase.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with senior executives, finance, and accounting teams to drive process improvement and ensure alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
