Job Description
Whalar is seeking a Senior Manager of Paid Media to support paid social strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in media planning, campaign optimization, and working with creators. This role requires a forward-thinking leader adept at working across multiple teams and clients.
The role involves:
- Serving as a key strategic partner for agency clients.
- Developing and communicating paid social media strategies.
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Executing paid amplification and targeting strategies across various platforms.
- Leveraging A/B testing and multi-touch attribution models to optimize campaigns.
- Maintaining attention to detail and organizational skills while managing multiple campaigns.
- Utilizing analytical skills to interpret data sets and inform strategic decisions.
- Crafting and presenting wrap reports to clients.
- Providing leadership and recommendations to improve internal paid media expertise.
Whalar is looking for:
- 4-6 years in paid social media roles.
- Experience developing and implementing influencer marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with major paid social tools and interfaces.
- Understanding of tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and advanced ad implementation techniques.
- Proficiency with benchmarking across platforms and verticals.
- Experience in strategic media planning and alignment with business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills in a results-driven environment.
- Thorough understanding of branded content ad policies and compliance requirements.
