Software Engineer II - Front end focused (Viator)

Job Description

Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their fast-growing team in Lisbon. This is a remote-first position with an expectation of visiting the Saldanha office twice per month.Viator's Experiences Engineering team is distributed across Europe and is responsible for viator.com, the Viator mobile apps, and all their supporting infrastructure. The team runs the systems that help operators build their businesses and enable third parties to utilize Viator's inventory. They also provide the tools that help the customer services team provide world-class service to travelers and operators internationally.Role Involves:

• Working closely alongside product managers and designers.
• Participating in the full process from software design to code, test, and deployment.
• Releasing code to production frequently.
• Focusing on front-end development with occasional back-end projects.

Requirements:

• Hunger to learn and work on a variety of technical challenges.
• Experience with front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with web stack technologies such as Java, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, and AWS is a plus.
