Job Description
Khan Academy is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to focus on its assessment offerings. This role involves educating and persuading school districts to adopt Khan Academy's assessment solutions. The Product Marketing Manager will support sales teams, develop go-to-market plans, analyze data, and collaborate with product development. The ideal candidate will have experience in edtech and a background as an educator or school/district administrator.

Role involves:
  • Conducting market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the K-12 assessment landscape.
  • Developing clear and compelling messaging that articulates the value proposition of Khan Academy’s assessment offerings.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive go-to-market plans, including launch strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Creating effective sales tools, including sales decks, demos, brochures, case studies, and digital content.
  • Tracking performance versus targets for key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards goals.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing (strong preference for those with experience in edtech).
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience as an educator or school/district administrator.
  • Excellent ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and assessment practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to improving student outcomes.
