Payments - DevOps Engineer at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Payments team in Buenos Aires. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating the best payment customer experience in the iGaming industry. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to a scalable, multi-brand payment platform supporting numerous online brands and payment integrations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing Infrastructure as Code for parts of the Core Platform Layer (Kubernetes Clusters, Message Broker backends, Infrastructure tooling).
• Building Infrastructure Platforms as self-service to developers.
• Continuously improving and developing the platforms.
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and solving issues of efficiency, performance, and scale.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters, preferably with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE.
• Strong knowledge and experience of managing Kafka infrastructure in a geo-distributed setup.
• Managing Cloud Infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience working with cloud providers, with AWS as preference.
• Experience in building scalable and distributed infrastructure.
• Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana.
• Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar.
• Experience in using and managing Linux distributions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in IT operations, such as ITIL and DevOps principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies.
• Required to be on an On-call support schedule.
