Principal DevOps Architect

Job Description

Rumble is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to enhance its global infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building, securing, and automating systems to ensure speed, scalability, and reliability. This role involves designing and automating infrastructure, monitoring performance, and ensuring resilience against failures.Responsibilities:

• Work with multiple Linux distributions.
• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion reliability and uptime.
• Partner with engineering, security, and product teams.
• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Optimize application performance with containerization and orchestration.
• Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis.
• Continuously seek new tools and approaches.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience managing Linux-based servers.
• Experience compiling custom Linux kernels.
• Expertise in modern CI/CD practices and GitOps workflows.
• Strong skills in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Experience managing monitoring platforms and incident management systems.
• Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
• Collaborative mindset and exceptional communication skills.
• Expertise in troubleshooting software and systems.
