Payments - QA Engineer at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking a QA Engineer to join their Payments Engineering team in Malta. This role involves modernizing web and globally distributed applications, focusing on improving the payment customer experience. The successful candidate will work within a Scrum team, contributing to the quality and efficiency of the product development process.

Role Involves:

• Developing a deep understanding of the product to identify weaknesses and enhance testing effectiveness.
• Designing and developing automated tests using industry-standard tools.
• Playing an active role in requirement definition and product growth.
• Promoting a quality mindset through coaching and collaboration.
• Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Conducting root cause analysis of issues.
• Improving the Software Delivery process for continuous deployment.

Requirements:

• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages (preferably C#, Javascript, and Typescript).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
• Proficiency in using test automation libraries like Playwright and Puppeteer, and frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
• Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
• Experience working in Agile teams with a shift-left mentality in testing.
• Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
