The company is seeking a QA Engineer to help modernize web and globally distributed payment applications. This role sits within the Payments Engineering team, which focuses on improving the customer payment experience. The team is international and is looking for someone passionate about the latest technologies who can handle company-critical responsibilities.

Role involves:

  • Developing deep knowledge of the product to identify weaknesses and enhance testing effectiveness.
  • Being an integral part of a Scrum team.
  • Designing and developing automated tests using industry-standard tools.
  • Playing an active role in the ongoing requirement definition and growth of the product.
  • Promoting a quality mindset through coaching and close collaboration.
  • Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of issues.
  • Improving the Software Delivery process.

Requirements:

  • Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language (preferably C#), Javascript and Typescript.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
  • Proficiency in using test automation libraries like Playwright and Puppeteer, as well as frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
  • Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
  • Experience working in Agile teams with a shift-left mentality in testing.
  • Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
