Payments - Team Lead (Backend .NET/C#)

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a Team Lead to join their Payments Engineering team. Betsson Group sponsors Boca Juniors and Racing Club. The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for building the best payment customer experience and improving payment options across Betsson's brands and markets.This role involves:

• Building and managing a high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and mentoring.
• Splitting time equally between team leadership and technical work.
• Direct line management, focusing on performance, satisfaction, and career development.
• Driving and facilitating the team's delivery to production.
• Fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and quality.
• Maintaining high technical standards, especially for reliability and uptime.
• Collaborating with technical leadership for architectural alignment.
• Facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Ensuring well-defined roles and delegation of responsibilities.

Requirements include:

• Experience building scalable, containerized services and applications.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ), and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL).
• Familiarity with modern web technology (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Understanding of agile principles.
• Ability to deliver timely solutions for business needs.
• Skills to lead, motivate, and coach teams.
• Very good level of English.
