Weber Shandwick is seeking an Account Director, Client Experience, with a focus on Healthcare, to manage integrated communications programs. The Account Director will be the primary day-to-day contact for clients, managing communications across both the agency and client teams, ensuring efficient and productive execution. They will demonstrate ownership and accountability, cultivating long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.Role involves:
- Maintaining daily client contact and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Facilitating cross-functional team integration (strategy, creative, integrated media specialists, etc.).
- Acting as a translator between clients and teams.
- Proactively suggesting improvements and new ideas.
- Managing client financials and profitability.
- Navigating conflicts across stakeholders.
- Managing team resourcing/staffing.
- Participating in agency development and new business.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of relevant healthcare communications agency experience.
- Ability to translate client needs into workable plans/projects.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing high-performing teams and mentoring team members.
- Confident presenter and persuasive speaker.
- Financial acumen in budgeting, billing, and staffing.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
