Job Description

Stone Tech is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join its Customer Platforms team. This team is responsible for providing the technological infrastructure that puts the customer first. The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for creating data products that meet the different needs of the business, acting as a bridge between business needs and the data platform. Stone Tech is a combination of Stone Co. technology teams and financial companies in the group.

The role involves:

• Acting on ambiguous problems without a pre-defined scope.
• Being a reference for decision-making regarding solution details.
• Assisting the team in solving problems without a well-defined scope.
• Providing suggestions and constructive criticism.
• Defining and delivering technical roadmaps for larger projects.

Requirements:

• Passion for data.
• SQL proficiency.
• Experience in data modeling techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Knowledge of Google BigQuery and/or Databricks.
• Experience with programming languages for analytical purposes (e.g., Python, R, Scala).
• Experience in data pipeline quality and observability.
• Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Good communication skills.
