Job Description
Stone is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Advisory Legal team. Stone is a technology and financial services company focused on the customer. The Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal advice to the StoneCo Group, including:
- Structuring legal aspects of products, services, and financial operations.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts with financial institutions, clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Advising business and administrative areas on Civil Law, Banking Law, Data Protection Law, and Intellectual Property matters.
The role involves:
- Continuous interaction with business teams to understand products and operations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
- Multidisciplinary work with the opportunity to propose solutions for complex cases.
Requirements:
- Law degree and registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Experience with financial products and services of financial institutions and/or payment companies.
- Fluency in English.
