Job Description
Lantern is seeking a Contract Configuration Specialist to join their team. This role is remote and based in the USA. The Contract Configuration Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate loading of all Professional, Facility, and Ancillary contracts within Lantern’s Claims and Provider Services systems. They will serve as a subject matter expert in all areas of contract configuration, rate reimbursement, and claims processing capabilities. The specialist will work closely with Claims, Network Development, and Analytics teams to develop and refine workflows for efficient contract processing, and will be the subject matter expert to review and approve non-standard contract terms prior to execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all provider, facility, and ancillary rate configurations within Lantern’s Claim and Provider Services systems, including ingestion within SLA
  • Coordinate with Network Management to align contract language and terms with Claims system capabilities
  • Analyze executed contracts for best practice alignment and opportunities to enhance
  • Review non-standard contract terms to ensure alignment with system capabilities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Operations, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience with claims system programming
  • Experience in provider, facility, and ancillary contract file set-up, maintenance, testing, and auditing
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, fee schedules, and CMS codes
  • Strong attention to detail, with analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Experience with Zellis, Visium, and PayerCompass highly preferred
