Job Description

RxSense is seeking a Data Architect to lead the design and development of cloud-based architectures for healthcare and pharmacy benefit management (PBM) data systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Medicaid and Medicare data, ensuring solutions meet federal healthcare standards and support business performance.Role involves:

• Designing and implementing scalable cloud-native architecture.
• Maintaining data models, data lakes, and data marts.
• Designing systems that support downstream processes and data consumers.
• Implementing data governance frameworks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Developing strategies for data security and scalability.
• Mentoring the data engineering team.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of data architecture experience.
• 5+ years in the healthcare or PBM industry.
• 3+ years in Medicaid/Medicare-specific work (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake, AWS, and Matillion.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, NCPDP).
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).
