Betsson is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their Payments Engineering Area in Malta. This role is crucial for building the best payment customer experience in the iGaming industry. The ideal candidate will be experienced in modern technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, and RabbitMQ.

The Senior .NET Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications. He will collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement efficient RESTful APIs and microservices.

Role involves:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable server-side applications using the .NET framework
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Developing and implementing efficient and secure RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Performing testing and debugging of backend applications
  • Optimising application performance and scalability
  • Participating in code reviews

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
  • Proficiency in SQL databases
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server databases
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
