The company is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to fill the Frontend Team Lead position in Budapest. This role involves working on a world-leading, high-performance, high-availability, and high-throughput multi-brand betting platform. The Team Lead will support the Engineering Manager in development, quality assurance, and product management while managing direct reports.

Role Involves:

  • Working closely with team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Enabling continuous improvement.
  • Managing vacation planning for direct reports.
  • Conducting one-to-one meetings to support individual performance and development.
  • Motivating the team to improve performance.
  • Leading team efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining a focus on business goals.

Requirements:

  • Development background in building scalable, containerized services and applications.
  • Good understanding of modern web technology (JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular).
  • Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ), and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL).
  • Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct, and coach staff.
  • Strong people management & leadership skills.
