Betsson is seeking a Frontend Team Lead to join its Sportsbook Area within Product Development in Malta. The company's Sportsbook Platform is developed in-house, and this role offers the chance to work on a leading, high-performance, high-availability, multi-brand betting platform. The Team Lead will support the Engineering Manager in development, quality assurance, and product management while managing direct reports.
The role involves:
- Working closely with team members to ensure project success
- Enabling continuous improvement
- Managing vacation planning for direct reports
- Conducting one-to-one meetings to support individual development
- Motivating the team to improve performance
- Leading team efforts for successful project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve business goals
Betsson is looking for someone with:
- A development background in building scalable, containerized services and applications
- A good understanding of modern web technology (JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular)
- Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ), and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL)
- Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and coach staff
- Strong people management and leadership skills
